Down a quaint country road in Klimmen (NL), the Carishof Garden opens its gates each spring to local visitors seeking a relaxing, yet elegant experience. Perfectly manicured shrubs, lawn, and flower arrangements line pathways throughout the small garden as birds leisurely swim in the pond under a weeping willow. Daffodils, tulips, hydrangeas, and wildflowers intersperse themselves in a colorful display of spring.
Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with a piece of cake in the sunroom café while soaking in the serene atmosphere. To maintain the peacefulness of the gardens, it is requested that children under the age of 12 are accompanied by an adult.
Only an hour or two is needed to walk through the garden and the entrance fee of 3€ is well worth the view. Garden hosts are friendly and speak can also speak English.
